About the Event

lama TsultrimLama Tsultrim Allione will give the transmission and instruction for the Prajna Paramita meditation practice. Prajna Paramita is the Great Mother, described as the "Perfection of Wisdom." She is the tool which cuts through obscuration to reveal the primordial state. The practice is an open-eyed sky gazing practice, where one mixes space and awareness. This transmission is a continuation of the March 16 "Feeding Your Demons" seminar. Those who didn't attend the seminar are still welcome to attend. The Prajna Paramita meditation is a key aspect of Lama Tsultrim's Feeding Your Demons Kapala Training program but can also be practiced on its own.

Sunday, March 17; 10am-11:30am

Suggested Donation: $15

Practice texts will be available for a donation of $3-$5.

– Twelve Extraordinary Women Shaping the Transmission of Buddhism in the West is the first book to profile some of the most accomplished female teachers of Tibetan Buddhism who teach in the West. It will be published by Snow Lion/Shambhala in April 2013. There are chapters about Khandro Rinpoche, Pema Chödron, Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo, Thubten Chödron, Roshi Joan Halifax, Elizabeth Mattis-Namgyel, among others.
