About the Event
Â
Join Drs. Miles Neale and Emily Wolf of the Nalanda Institute for an experiential workshop focusing on the inner and outer methods of self-healing and life-change grounded in the contemplative sciences of Yoga and Tibetan Buddhism. Using Master Patanjali’s classic second century text Yoga Sutras as a guide, explore the comprehensive eight-limbed (ashtanga) approach that combines harmonious lifestyle recommendations, breathwork, physical postures, and meditation to help break free of compulsive cycles driven by stress and trauma. This retreat concludes the Foundations of Self-Healing course, but is open to the public and students of all levels of practice.
* Please wear comfortable cloths for freedom of movement and bring a yoga mat if you have one, otherwise mats will be provided.
