The spiritual teachings of the great masters far transcend the dictates of membership in
particular religious traditions—the former are all inclusive, the latter most often exclusive. In this retreat we will draw inspiration from A Course in Miracles, The Way of the Bodhisattva, and The Holy Teachings of Vimalakirti to intensify our practice of living in moment to moment awareness of the fundamental goodness, beauty, and abundance of reality. This was the essential teaching, pointed out in its glorious immediacy by Jesus, Shantideva, and Buddha, without avoiding long-term universal responsibility for helping all other beings free themselves from self-imposed suffering as well.

Universal spiritual principles lie at the heart of all great religious traditions, forming a metaphysical Oneness that pervades them all. Mercy, forgiveness, infinite compassion, and actualization of the inner light are among the principles that tie Jesus and Buddha together in a common path to the heart of Love.

Join two of America’s foremost spiritual teachers in this incredibly inspiring and enlightening retreat including morning yoga, lively conversations, question and answer sessions, free time for spa treatments, and delicious meals—all in the breathtaking private valley of Menla Mountain. Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity!

For all levels of interest & experience.

Marianne Williamson is an internationally acclaimed author and lecturer. Six of her ten published books have been New York Times Best Sellers. Four of these have been #1 New York Times Best Sellers. A Return to Love is considered a must-read of The New Spirituality. A paragraph from that book, beginning "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure..." - often misattributed to Nelson Mandela's Inaugural address - is considered an anthem for a contemporary generation of seekers. Marianne’s latest New York Times Best Seller is A Course in Weight Loss: 21 Spiritual Lessons for Surrendering Your Weight Forever, which was selected by Oprah to be one of her Favorite Things in 2010.

Marianne's other books include The Age of Miracles, Everyday Grace, A Woman's Worth, Illuminata, Healing the Soul of America and The Gift of Change. She has been a popular guest on television programs such as Oprah, Larry King Live, Good Morning America and Charlie Rose. In 1989, she founded Project Angel Food, a meals-on-wheels program that serves homebound people with AIDS in the Los Angeles area. Today, Project Angel Food serves over 1,000 people daily.

In December 2006, a NEWSWEEK magazine poll named Marianne Williamson one of the fifty most influential baby boomers. According to Time magazine, "Yoga, the Cabala and Marianne Williamson have been taken up by those seeking a relationship with God that is not strictly tethered to Christianity." www.marianne.com.

Robert Thurman is professor of Indo-Tibetan Studies at Columbia University, President of Tibet House US, a popular lecturer on Tibetan Buddhism, the translator of many philosophical treatises and sutras, and author of numerous books including the national bestseller, Inner Revolution: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Real Happiness; Anger, the fifth book from a series on the Seven Deadly Sins, offered by The New York Public Library and Oxford University Press. His most recent book is titled Why the Dalai Lama Matters: His Act of Truth as the Solution for China, Tibet, and the World, published by Atria Books/Beyond Words. http://www.bobthurman.com/.
