Our current health care system is wonderful at treating acute medical crises, but fails miserably with chronic diseases and does not know how to keep people healthy. There is a new medical model emerging which combines the knowledge we have gained from science with the wisdom we have learned from ancient traditions. Come to a series of discussions hosted by Dr. Frank Lipman on this new medical paradigm, which incorporates modalities that have been part of most healing traditions for centuries.

Presenter 

Robert A. F. Thurman, PhD, is professor of Indo-Tibetan Studies at Columbia University, President of Tibet House U.S., the translator of many philosophical treatises and sutras, and author of numerous books.

Frank Lipman MD, founder/Director of the Eleven-Eleven Wellness Center in NYC, is a board certified internist with over 30 years’ experience combining Western medicine with complementary practices.

Elena Brower, a certified Anusara Yoga teacher, is the founder of the Virayoga yoga studio in SoHo.

Stephen Cowan MD, FAAP, a Westchester-based holistic pediatrician and teaches at NY Medical College, is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture and an advisory board member of the Holistic Pediatric Association.

Gabrielle Roth, world-renowned theater director, movement innovator and recording artist, is the best-selling author of Maps to Ecstasy, Sweat Your Prayers, and Connections. Her original form of ecstatic dance, the 5Rhythms®, is taught by over 300 certified teachers around the globe.
