Massages and wellness treatments will also be available (for an additional cost) in our new state-of-the-art Mahasukha Spa.
Nutritional organic and alkaline meals—free of dairy, meat, and caffeine—will be prepared daily. Meals will be supplemented with fresh green juices and delicious smoothies.

Robert A.F. Thurman is the Jey Tsong Khapa Professor of Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Studies in the Department of Religion at Columbia University, and co-founder and President of Tibet House US. He writes and lectures frequently on Buddhism, Asian history, and critical philosophy. A personal friend of the Dalai Lama for over 40 years, his latest book is Why the Dalai Lama Matters: His Act of Truth as the Solution for China, Tibet and the World.
Jill Pettijohn - Professional Chef of 20 years experience in all types of cuisine, and trained as a Registered Nurse, Jill has a unique understanding of the human body and how it functions with different foods and why we need to take care of ourselves for our future.
Her experience as a chef has carried her through out the world and she has worked with many wonderful people and celebrities such as Donna Karan, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, among others.
Owner of the Jill ‘s Cleanse, designed for people on the go, to help people achieve better health with an initial, Five Day liquid cleansing program. Having close to a decade of experience in this field Jill uses all organic or naturally grown ingredients to create her specialized blends of juices, smoothies, and raw soups.
Jill owned and operated a vegan organic café in Brooklyn and introduced raw and living foods to a new community. She has worked as a consultant for Parrot Cay Resort introducing a raw food menu for the spa and also a cleansing program for the Mandarin Hotel In NYC. She has been part of the Urban Zen Nutritional Forum July 2009.

Barbara Boris is a student of Yoga Asana, Indian Philosophy and Sanskrit for twenty four years, a teacher for over fifteen years. She has traveled annually to India for the last fifteen years for continued spiritual study; to lead yoga retreats in Rishikesh; and to Pune, India (February 2011 makes her sixth trip there) for extended training with the BKS Iyengar family.
Megan Leigh, E-RYT founded Lalita Healing Collective and owns Chichester Yoga Studio. Megan completed the Forrest Yoga™ Foundation and Advanced Teacher Trainings and has assisted Ana in the United States, the UK, and Europe. Megan also studies hands-on healing with Rosalyn Bruyere and Visionary Craniosacral Therapy with Ellen Heed.

Accommodations Fees
Arrive Thursday, depart Sunday. Accommodations fee includes housing and gourmet vegetarian meals and is in addition to the program tuition.
Room with Queen Bed and Private Bath - $589 single (per person); $760 couple ($380 per person)
Room with Queen Bed and Shared Bath - $511 single (per person); $710 couple ($355 per person)
Room with 2 Twin Beds and Private Bath - $460 (per person)
Room with 2 Twin Beds and Shared Bath - $427 (per person)
Room in Private House with twin beds or twin bunks - $405, 375, 355, or 330 (per person), depending on whether you book a single, double, triple, or quad, respectively. Please note that beds in Private Houses are on a first come first serve basis. We cannot assign specific beds on registration.
Campers- Includes facility use and all meals - $285 (per person)
Commuters - Includes facility use and all meals - $225 (per person)
Note: We will assign you a roommate if you do not register with one.
Cancellation Policy
- If you cancel two weeks prior to the program, you will receive a 100% refund, minus a $35 processing fee.
- If you cancel one full day to two weeks prior to the program, you will receive full credit, minus a $35 processing fee, which can be applied to any other Tibet House sponsored program at Menla. This credit is valid for one year.
- If you cancel the day of the program or do not show up for any reason, no refund or credit will be given.
Tibet House US/Menla Mountain Retreat reserves the right to cancel any program at any time for low enrollment or circumstances beyond our control. Should this happen, a full refund will be offered.
