About the Event

 

 

 

Tibet House is delighted to host the Maitreya Project Heart Shrine Relic Tour from October 14-16.  The relics from this tour have been discovered among the cremation ashes of Buddhist masters over millennia, including the historical Shakyamuni Buddha, his closest disciples, and adepts of various Buddhist traditions.  Most relics resemble beautiful pearl-like crystals and have been perceived by numerous visitors to transmit blessings and healing to the mind and body. According to tradition, relics are believed to be produced as a result of the master’s spiritual qualities of compassion and wisdom and are reminders of each being’s inner potential to manifest these qualities as well. 

 

As these relics include Tibetan spiritual masters and thus represent some of the best and most astounding facets of Tibetan culture, we are especially pleased to host this event.

 

This event is free, and everyone is welcome to come to this special event and view the relics, regardless of their spiritual heritage.  No RSVP is necessary.
