Life is busy. You may not have time to sit on a mountaintop (for more than a weekend) in order to reach a more enlightened state of being. You need knowledge to last a lifetime and tools you can take home. This weekend retreat is designed to raise your vibration and to give you practical techniques to live a happier, calmer, and more powerful life.

Your retreat leaders will energize and inspire you with interactive lectures, yoga, heart-warming physical practice, meditation, and coaching exercises that will require you to rethink how you live your life. Activities will address heart, mind, and body and help bring them into alignment with one other. A dream to be happy is required, but, instead of waiting for your dreams to come true before you can be happy, be happy first and watch your dreams come true as a result!

If Happiness were easy, we would all have and sustain it 24/7. In this day and age, most practitioners are busy treating symptoms rather than looking at true causes and what we can do, practically and spiritually, to change our lives for the happier. Many people present the keys to happiness and health, but few live consistently with what they are teaching. Your retreat leaders this weekend are the exception.

Patricia Moreno is a pioneer of physical and spiritual transformation, and a leader in the global fitness and wellness industries. Named one of the top 10 women who shape the world, Patricia is one of the most respected mind-body life gurus and fitness experts today, Moreno has over 25 years of experience as a dynamic motivational speaker and fitness trainer, and is the author of the 2010 bestseller The intenSati™ Method 7 Secret Principles to Thinner Peace.

Laurie Gerber is President of Handel Group™ Life Coaching, an international coaching company, which specializes in teaching individuals to take focused and powerful action in every area of their lives. Passionate about personal development, Laurie has dedicated the last 15 years to coaching hundreds of individuals and large groups and also teaches the Handel Method® to world-wide audiences through her popular blogs, radio and television.

Frank Lipman A pioneer and internationally recognized expert in the fields of Integrative and Functional Medicine, Dr Frank Lipman is the founder and director of Eleven-Eleven Wellness Center in New York City, where his personal brand of healing has helped thousands of people reclaim their vitality and recover their zest for life.

Robert A.F. Thurman is the Jey Tsong Khapa Professor of Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Studies in the Department of Religion at Columbia University, and co-founder and President of Tibet House US. He writes and lectures frequently on Buddhism, Asian history, and critical philosophy. A personal friend of the Dalai Lama for over 40 years, his latest book is Why the Dalai Lama Matters: His Act of Truth as the Solution for China, Tibet and the World.

Cancellation Policy

- If you cancel two weeks prior to the program, you will receive a 100% refund, minus a $35 processing fee.

- If you cancel one full day to two weeks prior to the program, you will receive full credit, minus a $35 processing fee, which can be applied to any other Tibet House sponsored program at Menla. This credit is valid for one year.

- If you cancel the day of the program or do not show up for any reason, no refund or credit will be given.

Tibet House US/Menla Mountain Retreat reserves the right to cancel any program at any time for low enrollment or circumstances beyond our control. Should this happen, a full refund will be offered.



Accommodations

Arrive Friday, depart Sunday. Accommodations fee includes housing and gourmet vegetarian meals and is in addition to the program tuition.


Room with Queen Bed and Private Bath -  $450 single person; $550 couple ($275 per person)

Room with Queen Bed and Shared Bath - $380 single person; $500 couple ($250 per person)

Room with 2 Twin Beds and Private Bath -  $320 (per person)

Room with 2 Twin Beds and Shared Bath -  $296 (per person)

Room in Private House with twin beds or twin bunks -  $270, 250, 230, or 220 (per person), depending on whether you book a single, double, triple, or quad, respectively.  Please note that beds in Private House shared rooms are on a first come first serve basis. We cannot assign specific beds on registration.

Cots- Occasionally, cots can be added to shared rooms - $200 (per person)

Campers- Includes facility use and all meals - $190 (per person)

Commuters - Includes facility use and all meals - $150 (per person)


Note: We will assign you a roommate if you do not register with one and do not book a single room.
